On December 7, an international conference on the topic “The End of the Empire” was held in Chicago, USA, with the participation of the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Banderites), President of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations Oleh Medunytsya, politicians, scientists and public figures from the USA and Canada, as well as leaders of national liberation movements of enslaved peoples. In particular, representatives of Chechen, Buryat, Bashkir, Circassian and Oirat-Kalmyk national liberation organizations took part in the conference.
In addition to the President of the ABN, Oleh Medunytsya, the conference also featured Margarita Asenova as the main speaker, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Asset Sabb, representative of the Buryat National Movement Marina Khankhalaeva, leader of the Congress of the Oirat-Kalmyk People Baatar Bormangnayev, chairman of the International Circassian Council Iyad Yagar, representative of the Bashkir National Movement Abroad Aigul Lyon, coordinators of the association of American Friends of the ABN, Professor Volodymyr Zarytsky and Yuriy Kmyotik, Dr. Maria Dmytriv-Kapenyak and Andriy Dobryansky from the Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America. The event was moderated by Oleksandra Gorodiski-Gashler.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials of the exhibition of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations “Putin’s Real Prisoners. Political Prisoners of the Enslaved Nations”, as well as watch a documentary about the ABN human rights project.
