There is no God in the swamps and there never was! And this is Washington’s response to the extension of sanctions for a year. The tales that Putin told Steve Witkoff for 4 hours in a row, and he told Trump, seem to convince no one in the White House of anything.
Recently, while playing golf with the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, Trump asked several times: can Putin be trusted? I am convinced that Alexander answered: of course not!
Trump started a trade war with Russia’s ally – China. Are there still idiots across the ocean who might think that Putin will calm down after this and can be appeased by joint gas supplies to Europe?
In order to bring the Chinese to the negotiating table, Trumpists need to inflict such a crushing defeat on the Muscovites that Beijing will understand: it is better to negotiate than to fight…
