The HeroCar charity project, thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian community in Canada and Ukrainian-Canadian business, provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a car. The equipment went to the 241st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade to the Kupian direction. There, it will save the lives of our military and civilians, and will be involved in operational and logistical tasks.
HeroCar fruitfully cooperates with Canadian Ukrainians, businesses and institutions and expresses gratitude for the support of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This transfer would not have been possible without the support of the Canadian community, the Ukrainian churches of St. Volodymyr and St. Dmytroy, the Yuriy Lypa Ukrainian Heritage School, Meest Express, the “Galya Baluvana” chain, the “Korchma” restaurant, the “Fajne Misto” store, the “KOOTA OOMA” bookstore, and BCU.
Since its inception, HeroCar has transferred more than 500 units of wheeled transport to the Armed Forces, and in 2024 sent more than 150 cars and other equipment to the front. The greatest demand in the project is for reliable pickup trucks, which are so needed in war for the evacuation of the wounded, combat and reconnaissance missions, and logistics issues. HeroCar not only accumulates funds, searches for and transfers cars to the army, but also conducts a thorough technical inspection of all vehicles, if necessary, adapts them to the needs of a particular unit.
HeroCar promptly responds to requests from the military and connects all possible resources to seek funding to provide the army with transport. To do this, it establishes partnerships with Ukrainian and foreign businesses, influencers, and stars. In 2024, the project established cooperation with 90 new partners and 25 famous people
The goal of the project is to transfer 1,000 units of reliable wheeled vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. HeroCar plans to reach this milestone this year.
